Tell us about yourself
I'm a decorator, interior architect and object designer, so the projects can vary.
At the moment, I'm working on some personal projects for my own decoration, including cushion covers, oversized tablecloths and chair covers made by Baptiste Pourquery De Boisserin, whom I recommend.
My aim is to create sober pieces using the best materials, because touch is essential to my approach.
Why have you chosen Adapta?
Today's factories have to meet productivity constraints in order to satisfy their customers' margin requirements. For a young company, high quality leathers remain inaccessible, because it doesn't have the volume to launch production of materials with these suppliers. I know this from having visited manufacturers in Lombardy for 2 years; projects that fell through were so discouraging from a financial point of view and in terms of achievable quantities. Discovering a young structure like Adapta, which offers solutions for sourcing very top-of-the-range leathers, opens a door to a world that seemed inaccessible to many designers.

What do you think of the Adapta range?
I find that the leathers are very varied, which makes it possible to think about new projects.
The prices are also attractive, so it's easier to start testing, which is more reassuring. Adapta gives some real advice on the leathers best suited to my projects; we are easily guided towards the type of skin to choose for an idea; suppleness, robustness...
A final word about Adapta?
The skins are all so beautiful. If I didn't have to hold back, I'd buy the whole stock!
